WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki comes from the Japanese words- Rei and ki. Rei means Higher knowledge or spiritual consciousness. Ki means the universal life force energy that animates all living things. Therefore Reiki means spiritually guided life force energy. When the flow of energy is blocked, it can lead to physical, mental, or emotional imbalances.

Reiki assists by restoring this flow of energy leading to more optimal and holistic health. Reiki is a gentle energy healing approach with a long history of treating a variety of physical and emotional traumas and illnesses. Although Reiki has many healing benefits, it should not be used as a substitute for medical and/or psychiatric care.

REIKI SERVICES

In person Reiki: Prior to Reiki starting, you will need to complete initial paperwork. Please be sure to ask questions and/or discuss your areas of concern. Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that is done by placing the hands in a series of positions on or slightly above the body. The Reiki energy goes to the affected areas for healing. During this process, you are fully clothed.

Modalities used during Reiki healing may include the following:

Relaxation music

Distance Reiki: I also provide Distance (Remote) Reiki sessions. For Reiki to work, you don’t have to be physically present. Prior to the first session, you will need to complete paperwork virtually. Be sure to ask any questions or discuss your areas of concern. During your appointment time, I will ask that you go to a place that is quiet and relaxing.

Reiki Training Class

Interested in learning Reiki? During class, you will learn about the history of Reiki, how energy healing works and a lot more! There are different Reiki systems. I teach based on the Usui Reiki lineage covering traditional Japanese Reiki and Western Reiki.
